What I do
My work sits at the intersection of AI strategy, transformation, and leadership. I help organisations figure out not just what AI can do, but how it changes the way they work, make decisions, and compete. That means working with leadership teams on strategy, with functional teams on capability, and with organisations as a whole on the culture and structures needed to make change stick.
There are three main ways I work with clients:
Strategic Consulting
I work with leadership teams on AI strategy, organisational transformation, and building the adaptive capability needed to thrive in a rapidly changing environment. That might mean helping define an AI strategy from scratch, redesigning how teams and processes work, or navigating the harder questions around what to automate, what to protect, and how to bring people along with the change.
My approach draws on years of experience in transformation and on the frameworks I’ve developed across my three books. I’m particularly interested in the leadership and cultural dimensions of AI adoption, the areas where most organisations struggle most and where technology alone is never the answer.
Consulting clients include OliverWyman, Roche, Daily Telegraph, Oxfam, Macmillan, and Warner Bros.
Workshops, Facilitation and Training Programme Design
I design and facilitate workshops, away days, and structured training programmes for teams and organisations at every level, from senior leadership to functional teams. Formats range from half-day sessions to multi-module programmes delivered over weeks or months.
Recent work includes designing and delivering AI programmes for the IPA (Institute of Practitioners in Advertising), running AI strategy workshops for agencies and corporate clients, and facilitating senior leadership sessions on transformation, organisational agility, and leading in the age of AI. I also design bespoke training programmes that combine structured learning with hands-on application, helping teams move from understanding AI to actually using it well.
Whether you’re looking to open up new thinking, define a strategic direction, build AI capability across a team, or take a genuine step change in how your organisation works, I can design a format and process that fits your objectives.
Workshop and training clients include the IPA, BBC, AstraZeneca, General Mills, Saatchi & Saatchi, Imperial College Business School, and Trinity College Business School.
Speaking
I’m a regular keynote speaker on AI transformation, critical thinking in the age of AI, organisational agility, and marketing transformation. My talks draw on themes from my three books and over a decade of working with leadership teams navigating technological change.
I’ve spoken at conferences including the Google Partner Summit, CIPD Change Management Conference, BAM Marketing Congress Brussels, AdWeek Europe, Best of Breed Conference, and Brand Week Istanbul, alongside in-company keynotes for organisations including Diageo, BBC, IBM, Publicis, DeLonghi, Unilever, Yum! Brands, and VCCP.
All talks can be customised to sector, audience, or specific organisational context. You can see more about my speaking topics here.
How I work
Every organisation’s situation is different, so I don’t sell off-the-shelf packages. I’ll take the time to understand your context and objectives and propose an approach that fits. I often work alongside other smart consultants with complementary skills to deliver larger or more complex projects in the best way possible.
