I'm delighted to say that Google Firestarters is back. In eight years of Firestarters events we've focused a lot on the craft of planning, on innovation, agency models and the future of advertising, but never really opened up beyond advertising to think about the wider context of how marketing itself is changing. Yet the discipline feels like it is changing faster and more profoundly than ever before.
So reflecting one of our most successful 'magnificent seven' Firestarters formats we’ve asked some of the smartest minds in marketing for a short, punchy provocations in answer to a simple question: if there was one thought that you could pass on about what will be important in the future of marketing, what would that be?
And we have seven fantastic speakers giving us seven rapid-fire provocations:
Nils Leonard, Creative Founder, Uncommon Creative Studio
Jan Gooding, Former Gp Brand Director, Aviva, Chair, Stonewall
Radha Davies, Senior Director, Brand and Communications at King
Russell Parsons, Editor, Marketing Week
Sally Weavers, Founder at Craft Media London
Sinead Bunting, Former VP Marketing at Monster
Richard Robinson, Managing Partner, Econsultancy
The event will be taking place 5.45pm-8pm, Monday 13th May at Google Pancras Square office, London. It should be fascinating. As usual I have some guest passes to give away to readers of this blog so if you're a planner or a strategist and would like to attend drop a comment below or contact me direct.
